Lida Africa was privileged to share with delegates at the 10th AfrEA’s 2022 Conference, the pioneer virtual event in the history of the organization!.
During the conference, our team presented a paper on The Role Of Consultancy Firms In Creating Pathways For Young & Emerging Evaluators (YEEs) And The Future Of Evaluation. The presentation highlighted lessons from our scalable model for transforming Young and Emerging Evaluators to Established Evaluation professions through tailored M&E fellowships at our Global School of Experience.
The innovative model generated interest as well as the debate among delegates from over 15 countries as well as on social media. It was subsequently shared by the Africa Evaluation Association Network for Young and Emerging Evaluators and The Global Parliamentary Forum for Evaluation among others.
The 10th AfrEA Conference acted as the foundation for promoting and advocating AfrEA’s “Made in Africa” approach and allows knowledge sharing, collaboration, and networking with a wide range of international organizations and individuals. On top of this paper, Lida Africa also held a full-day Professional Development Workshop on Evaluation Data Management, Analysis and Visualisation using Advanced Excel as well as presenting a paper on A Framework for Adoption of M&E Technological Innovations within Non-Governmental Organizations in Uganda.
