Lida Africa runs the very 1st Global School of Experience
The 17 Sustainable Development Goals draw significant attention to evaluation and youth. The future of evaluation depends on the critical role that young people play especially in the production & use of high-quality evidence through evaluations, monitoring, learning & research, especially in Africa where over 60% of the population is below 25 years.
Despite the progress since the Eval Year 2015, Young and Emerging Evaluators (YEEs) are under-represented in evaluation associations and are frequently absent from evaluations of policies and programs that impact them. Lida Africa in a bid to contribute to the achievement of SDGs designed the Global School of Experience (GSE) to substantively engage youth in evaluations as critical thinkers, change-makers, innovators, communicators, and leaders.
Through the Global School of Experience, Fresh Graduates (and Final Year students) are matched with Evaluators at Lida Africa for mentorship and empowerment. Our model includescareer guida
