On Saturday 25th, March 2017, Lida Africa is proud to officially pass on the graduates from the February 2017 Executive Training Programs intake who undertook Advanced level training in data management and analysis using Advanced MS EXCEL and SPSS.
The training which was warmly received by the public though the New vision advert (30th Jan 2017, page 100) and online social media platforms has been one of the most successful events held by Lida Africa. Over 25 participants were attracted from corners of Uganda and South Sudan. Each participant had to complete an Online Application Form.
Participants included managers, researchers from international development organizations, foundations, governments and non-governmental organizations, as well as trained M&E professionals. As usual, more participants were attracted to Advanced Excel compared to SPSS due to the course being one of Uganda’s most innovative practical courses.
These programs provided a thorough understanding of data management process, and pragmatic step-by-steps for conducting data analysis and development of databases and data collection. Participants also imparted with insights on the importance of data collection, key performance indicators and data quality control and assurance.
